Health & Wellness
The Orange Park Woman’s Club Health and Wellness Community Service Program is designed to inform members of issues that affect the well-being of individuals, families and communities by providing opportunities and resources to meet and address needs through volunteering. Through this program, clubs may develop and implement creative projects that promote a healthy lifestyle; increase awareness, prevention, research, and treatment of disease; target personal development; address the issues of hunger, inadequate housing, and homelessness; and/or prevent or correct financial difficulties.
Orange Park Woman’s Club members work together to design and support home life activities in their local communities.

Our committee has been collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House and eyeglasses for the Lions’Club. After collecting over 16 pounds of tabs, with the help of Shepherd’s Center of OP, we toured the facility and fell in love with their mission. We are expanding our aid and collecting cereal for the dining hall and lap blankets for parents who are sitting in chilly hospital rooms with their ill children.
For heart month there will be medical personnel at the general meeting to take the blood pressure of anyone desiring it and heart shaped magnets for each member with messages about signs of a heart attack.
We have volunteered time at the Clothes Closet/Food Pantry to sort, hang , and fold clothes plus provided food for holiday baskets distributes to needy families in the community.
